MEAM.Design - MEAM 101 - T08


Create a surface model of a bicycle saddle. When you're done modeling, name your file as 101-T08-PennKey.SLDPRT, and upload it to Canvas.

There are many ways to do this. One option can be seen in the screenshot below. First, a number of parallel planes were created along the length of the saddle. Simple, two-point splines were drawn on each plane, followed by sets of splines on the right and top planes to define the ends of the saddle. Lofts and boundaries were used to create surfaces between these splines, then the entire model was mirrored about the right plane. You don't need to use this technique, but if you're struggling, give this a try.
