MEAM.Design - SAAST - ROBOTANK - P3 (firing range)
Building upon your success with the beacon-lock exercise, it's time to move on to the firing range. In this exercise you will be faced with a regulation ROBOTANK beacon at a height of X centimeters above flat ground at a distance of between 60 and 200 centimeters from your ROBOTANK SLCU (Shell Launch Control Unit). The beacon will be illuminated at all times, and your SLCU can be oriented directly toward the beacon. You will be given ten seconds to input an analog value and press a momentary switch to initiate the shell launch sequence. A single variable power supply will be available for your use, and the inputs can be wired at this point. You will execute a series of 6 trials at varying distances.
