IEEE CASE 2009 is proud to support awards for Best Conference Paper and the Best Application Paper.
There will be a special session on Sunday, August 23, 2009
during 1.30 - 3.30 PM to select the Best Conference Paper (Award instituted by Spansion, Inc.) and the Best Application Paper (Award instituted by Qualtech Systems Inc.). Four papers, picked by the CASE 2009 Awards Committee, based on the excellent reviews received, will be presented during this session.

Association for Laboratory Automation (ALA) IEEE RAS CASE 2009 ALA Young Scientist Award
The Association for Laboratory Automation (ALA) & IEEE RAS CASE present the 2009 ALA Young Scientist award for the best paper and presentation in laboratory automation by a junior faculty member or graduate student. The winner receives $500 and travel to present the paper at ALA's annual conference and exhibition LabAutomation2010, January 23-27, in the Palm Springs Convention Center, Palm Springs, CA. The paper will be featured in ALAs peer-reviewed scientific journal: Journal of the Association for Laboratory Automation (JALA).
